Redesign 1.5 is live
Hey everyone!
We've been quietly working on a big round of changes behind the scenes, and most of it is now live.
The design of the website was originally heavily inspired by Xtreme-Jumps.eu, and over time it never really got deeply refactored. Priorities kept shifting toward adding features first, while the overall layout slowly became more overloaded and inconsistent. We finally decided it was time to give the site a fresher look and clean things up a bit. This isn’t a full redesign in the sense that we didn’t reinvent the wheel - most components and layouts are still fundamentally the same. That’s why we’ve been jokingly calling it the “Redesign 1.5”. (Spoiler: it’s also because I’m not very good at redesigning things completely from scratch.)
The layout got a proper cleanup. Spacing, colors, and structure are more consistent across pages. It's not a full visual overhaul, but things should feel tighter and more intentional than before.
The chatbox got reworked into a proper dock that stays with you while you browse. You can resize it, switch between the chatbox and latest forum messages, mention users via @nickname, and it automatically loads new messages. World record cards on the homepage now have their own comment thread. Profiles were also touched, there's more information visible at a glance, a ranking history chart, and a few quality of life things.
Beyond that there's a bunch of smaller things scattered around that are easier to just find than to list.
On another note, we're happy to welcome JamBawa to the developer team. He'll be working alongside me on new features for the site, more things in the pipeline!
If something looks broken or feels off, drop a message on Discord or in the comments, we'll be happy to take a look. Otherwise, enjoy the new coat of paint!
