NEW 260 LONGJUMP WORLD RECORD BY KOMI

Hey everyone,

Less than a year after setting the 259 block longjump world record, and the ladderjump world record with his 195, komi is back again with another major record. This time he has officially set a new 260 block longjump world record, improving the gap between propane’s second place jump of 259.564, as well as his own previous record of 259.923.

 

With the discovery and eventual mastery of the mouseslap mechanic helping to push longjump further than many thought possible, komi has now taken things to the extreme, parhaps as far as they can go.  While there are still a couple players capable of matching this, records at the very top level of longjump have become increasingly difficult to improve. Reaching 260 was once considered a distant dream, yet komi has now made it a reality. Whether this record is eventually tied or not, it's entirely possible that we have just witnessed the final block longjump world record improvement the game will ever see.
