Summer Website Development Update
Hello community!
A lot has been happening behind the scenes on the website over the past few months, and while some of these changes may have gone unnoticed, they've been laying the groundwork for some pretty cool new features. Here's a recap of what's new!
Demo viewer directly in your browser
We've supported YouTube videos for recent records for a while now, but we've expanded that with a brand new feature.
You can now watch demo replays directly in your browser, without having to download anything. This also means you can finally watch older demos that were never uploaded to YouTube, making many classic records much easier to revisit.

Example: https://kreedz.com/record/slide_anguish/watch/12634
At the moment, this feature is only available for maps and records stored as .zip files. Many older maps and demos are only archived as .rar files, so unfortunately the viewer cannot support those yet. If the feature is available, you'll notice a "Watch Demo" button on the record page.
This is all possible thanks to the https://github.com/skyrim/hlviewer.js/releases project.
All-time leaderboard
We've brought back a page from the previous version of the website!

The all-time leaderboard tracks every demo ever submitted, allowing you to see who has recorded the most demos throughout the site's history. It also includes a few additional statistics for those who enjoy digging into the numbers.
Improved record profile page
The record profile page now includes much more information than before. You'll find details such as the time difference to the previous record, the map type, and other information that was previously only available on the leaderboard pages.

It also combines both the old and new record systems into a single history, making it much easier to browse every record ever achieved by a player.
Player ranking over time
This feature has actually been available for a few months, but it's definitely worth highlighting.

In the Statistics section of a player's profile, you can now view how their global ranking has evolved over time. It's a fun way to look back at your own progression or see how top players climbed the rankings. The idea was inspired by HLTV's ranking history graphs.
Support for non-recordable maps
The Maps page now includes a filter for non-recordable maps.
While this may not seem particularly useful today, it's an important step toward supporting new categories of maps, such as kz_longjumps3 and other non-record maps, over the coming weeks.
Articles
Another feature making a comeback from the previous website!

We've restored all of the articles that existed on the old site, so you can once again browse through them, rediscover old news, and enjoy a nostalgic trip down memory lane. :)
KzGuessr Daily
On a side note, a small reminder that our KzGuessr Daily game was updated some time ago and now offers a refreshed experience. It’s designed as a recurring daily game you can come back to every day, with a streak system similar to apps like Duolingo. The gameplay should now feel less frustrating and no longer relies solely on guessing the exact map name. Feel free to give it a try!
Finally, we're also continuing to improve the website's performance. A lot of optimization work has happened behind the scenes, and hopefully you've already noticed faster loading times on pages such as player profiles, birthdays, and several other sections.
Thanks again for all your support. As always, we have plenty more in the works, so stay tuned for the next update - because we're cooking. 🔥
