LJ limits raised + Rules updated
Hi guys,
because of the high amount of submitted demos within the last weeks and the small amount of disk space, reserved for the LJ Thread, we had to raise the limits which are required to get in the official LJ Thread again. The new limits are: 248+ Longjump, 238+ Bhop Longjump and 236+ Highjump.

After an incident, we just found about today, we had to introduce a new rule against fakedemos. I'm sure you want to know what fakedemos are about right now. Let me tell you the story: L0w, who did 253 in the LJ thread, recorded a 251 demo for crack. He changed his name to crack ingame and made this 251 jump for crack. crack posted it in the LJ thread as "251 by crack", even though the demo was recorded by l0w. That's a bloody good example for a fakedemo.
This is a very lame action and isn't tolerated by XJ, of course. Both players are lucky enough that there haven't been a rule against fakedemos so far, and that both were honest enought to confess it and say sorry. Anyway, this story was reason enough for us to introduce a new rule for this problem.
Therefore: Fakedemos are strictly forbidden. Nobody is allowed to record any demos (for the record or the LJ record section) with a friends nickname or another username. In case of any abuse both involved player will get a 6 month ban from the whole XJ community (Website, IRC, Servers).
