word to peerat and Pf0llz0r. geeking a single jump is too much for a record listing and fame untill it is the best. evry map has only one best time/demo per route. dont see any reasons to make an exeption for kz_longjumps. it was fun in times of old lj thread, not now

If I was you I would only post the actual records in the particular sections... So when they are 5 people who have the longjump record (255 units)... each demo with the details should be available... the same goes for hj cj bhop... Maybe you can put the curren lj page into the forum but not on the main page... just my opinion tho..

LongJumps are the [b]gangrene[/b] of Xtreme-Jumps. Remove them, kill them, do what you want but make them disappear ^^ Yeah sure it was cool before, 2 years ago, because people didn't care about it as much as now... But now everybody is talking 24/24h about this longjumping shit, those shitty stats etc... XJ must come back to kz, and [b]NOT[/b] turning into Longjumping!

i voted: I want to see changes in the structure (comment!) i would prefer that lj LIST will get removed. and it would stand only actual WR in LJ, HJ, CJ, HJ. so: lj 255 - details (nickname, prespeed and so on) cj 260 - details (nickname, prespeed and so on) same for hj and bhop too. as long as lj is a part from kz, it would be very bad if all would be removed. but since longjump is ranked that high from many people, i think it would be better to post only actual wr in each of the 4 longjump categories (lj, cj, hj, bhop) like in the maprecords too :)

I want to see changes in the structure (comment!) So i'll just quote myself: I dont think to dispose of the ljs all together is completely right, but there isnt any sense in keeping hundreds of lj demos either. I think there should only be listed records of the highest units achieved. After all it is the wr, and some other are equal to it. So I think some people will feel left out if they hit it and not be ranked. But could also make it so that the first one who hit the block will be listed on top, the second who hits it ranked second and so on. Just my five cents :X

when bibo did 260cj and 255lj it was amazing, then some geeks did them too but it wasnt amazing anymore cause the jumps was already seen before and proved to be possible. So i think only one record holder at one category would be nice decision. ofc its nice to see different techiques and styles but they are all the same shit at the end. sry for my bad english

IMO only the first in break a record in each unit (and only block no stats) must be in ljrecord demos. And if, for example, bibo make 256 block ;) , the second in break 255 take his place. I hope you can understand me xD.

I think there should be at least 20 jumps of each style,because it is really interesting to watch other jumps, maybe learn some details.Moreover, there would be some kind of competition with each other.

Ok.. lj records should not be removed as it has become a part of kz the recent years. Ofc, i agree that since the lj plugin were released alot of people turned to lj instead of climbing the maps which kz really is about. Sure you need lj skill to finish some of the maps.. but why lj all the time? So, if the lj recs only get top5 or so.. How would that be.. block, stats? Either way.. you gotta be the fastest to record or have luck just to jump 0.0001 unit longer.. STUPID IMO.. Raise the limits or keep it as it is.. I'm out!
