Hi

Four days ago we posted a maprelease with four new maps (News)

Some of you guys experienced some kind of a bug with the timer on kz_kzdk_delianshop that made it impossible to see the actual time you've got when finished the map. The reason for this post it to make sure everyone knows theres a new bugfree version of the map out in the download section.

The current World Record will of course be removed becouse if this known
bug. And we will only accept new WR's on the new bugfree version.

We are truly sorry for any inconveniences this bug might have brought apon you

So what exactly caused the bug? Maybe it's something other mappers should also pay attention to.

Oh the good old days.. changing rules after demos are submitted. If I was TinTin I would go out beat the living $@($@ out of stukad :D And then I would quit kz after that.

lol supa! damn straight! imo TinTin should be allowed to keep his time on the demos page at least until it gets beaten! Doesn't matter if it can be viewed using the bug free version of the map or not!

yeah man, he did the same exact jumps without any advantage. i don't see why it can't be the WR. he's on vacation now, and when he comes back he'll see this :(

WR on old map = not playable on new bsp... thats the reason why the record got alienated -.-

your can;t blame the mapping team because when i talked to moxx he said they never saw it in any runs that they have played.. and i did over 20 runs and never saw it so its something with other people. Does suck for tintin a bit though :p this will push him to get it better! (even thought the last one was very very nice)

No simplicity. ive lost the motivation now. i send in my demo, it gets accepted, i get my first wr. then 1-2 days after, its removed again. that means i did all that shit for no reason. and that just pisses me off (wether zhady had a better time i dont really care). Its not serious nor is it fair to do these changes after there has been submitted wr on it. If it had been done before any wr's was submitted, then it would be superb. They all knew that the map had this bug, hell DHT posted a msg in chatbox about it just a few minutes(?) after it had been released. The map could have been removed right away, thats the only fair thing to do. And as this issue has been handled, is as i said, not serious and unfair. Im dissapointed, and no, its not only because it is (/was) my wr. I would have felt the same way if it happend to any other person in this community.

Well. It is positive for the future recording on the map. But im not pleased in the way it was done, at all! Do it before there is wr or let it be. Thats my opinion.

tommy i said "unless ur a beginner who uses scouts and checks", :D j/k but seriously, a person that climbed over 1000 times before shouldnt just keep on enjoying maps without accomplishing anything... (thats what he did the 1000 times before for), if i were him id try to go for the best times and stuff. i still think i didnt say anything wrong.

The timer has been changed because many people complianed about it!! I tried to send the fixed map to some admins about 3 days ago but no respond.. Im very sorry abuot this but i checked the timer when i tested the map before the first release and i didn't get this bug.. One more time! IM VERY SORRY ABOUT THIS!!
