Thanks KNiFEAR. :) Nowadays there are so many great demos submitted, but not fast enough for a WR, like CothAs demo. It's also 0300 on concise[easy]. So by listing them, they are not completely left out of the spotlight. They did actually spend time for our viewing pleasure. :)

Radon and puppetz, good job! Sambb that's freaking amazing, I really really really thought that blockrace was perfect, seriousl seriously. Great great record you got there. -- brian do you on purpose miss sandblock or aren't you able to beat it? brian have 75 zhady had 100 It's just too big of a difference still, in my head. I would say that brian is the best player at the moment, but looking at the past (which a lot of members seem to forget) I would still rate zhady as KZ king. For me, now, it's about sandblock.

Then let me xplayn. I'm glad to have started a debate about this issue, but it isn't ment to be so negative as you proclaims it to be. It's not because I'm friends with zhady that I try to maintain the image that he's the best. I really never speaks with him. Sometimes I comment a record in privatemessage. Nor is it because I have anything against you brian, because I really, really don't. I respect you as a player, being the best in the world, at the moment and as a person (even though I don't know you.). Brian your demos knock me off my chair, you have the coolest style, you have such an aggressive and fast style - A bit of weird control (not like t3d, puppetz, a0ke and so fourth), but it's incredible. My comment: "It's just too big of a difference still, in my head. I would say that brian is the best player at the moment, but looking at the past (which a lot of members seem to forget) I would still rate zhady as KZ king. For me, now, it's about sandblock." -- When the best player in the world gets knocked off the top, it's obious that it will start debate. You know that too. So when you took kznl_xtremeblock you proved to be a combantant to take the throne from zhady - Because it was kind of obious that zhady wouldn't be able to take it back. When you continued your rampage by taking some of the best demos by A LOT of seconds, it because certain that you wanted to become #1. So for me, as a spectator, and as an oldschooler I decided two absolute most-wanted and extreme demos in which I thought, "If brian is able to beat these two, then he have proved to me that he is the absolute best in the world." When you beated terablock, 1 release after my comment I was certain that you would take sandblock too, that you had taken the challenge, you wanted to do it. Even people seemed to be cool with the challenge. Some comments about "take sand next" and stuff like that made the whole challenge a lot more interesting for me (and for other people I guess). The whole KZ-king thing is a funny debate I think, I think it's cool to see changes in the top. And with such a big community, it's impossible to keep quite about it, esp. with the dedication I have given this site through the last 3 (maybe 4?) years. I like debatting the subject, and I think it's interesting for a lot of people. Brian, take my apology, I can understand that my comments have been degrading and demotivating. I see the nuisance I have caused to you, and for that I'm sorry. But I really really really have to say it again else I would be lying, for me, now, it's about sandblock. If/when you take it, you have converted me. If you don't you will become it anyway in a couple of months. KZ-king, seriously, that is worth fighting for imo. Brian, I hope to see a lot of demos from you in the future, and when I wrote this comment I was actually in a bad mood, which I can see now, apologies for it. It can never be a fact that the best climber in the world is <insert the one you think is the best climber>. The topic is subjective, and can be discussed for ages and ages, and will never lead to an end. Especially with all these very different maps, it's impossible to say who's the best, who would have pwned this and that if they were still active or whatever .. Also, the number of WRs a climber has does NOT tell if he's the best or not .. It depends on SO many things, it's bullshit to say that brian is the best NOW that he has become the jumper with most WRs(DEFINITELY not saying he isn't) .. Scary, you should move on, and realize that kz_sandblock is not the best / hardest map to beat today, though it might have been like that back in 2005 or whatever .. I'm not saying it is easy to beat .. It is (was!) a legendary map, but I just don't see why that would make brian the best climber in the world, if he beated it .. Never said that sandblock is the "best" map. I have said that it's one of the best. And it's not about sandblock as a map at all. It is as a record. 007 have done an incredible job on that record. Mehz, having a 100 demos is an incredible achievement and is in this debate relavant too in my opinion. But I'm not saying that zhady is better because of it, but I'm saying there's a big difference, it's still 1/4 more demos, and that's a lot. -- Furthermore I think this is a very cool debate, as lalle also says, debating makes a community interesting. But I would rather debate the brian/zhady thesis, instead of debating my comments, even though they seem to awake a lot of hysteria.

Just as obviously wrong as brian obviously doesn't give a shit about being "#1". This game is about having fun, not being the best in the world. Sure, being the best is always nice, and competition is great, but come on... When you keep commenting about brian's demos like that in EVERY RELEASE, it just gets old. I said two maps, tera and sand, brian took the challenge and beated tera. So the challenge was now only sandblock, that is why the debate is about that particular map. If your had read my former comments, you would see that I pinpointed sandblock. So saying that I would choose another map right after is just unrelavant guessing. You say you get annoyed by the criticism you're getting from PuppetZ? I bet brian feels the same way when you criticize him, and just because he beat one of the maps you "challenged" him with doesn't mean he has to beat the other one, and if you start a "debate", you should NOT take shit personal because people do not have the same opinion as you. In my first comment today I gave him possitive critic, yes, but you are speaking before this right? Well I haven't critized him. And Mehz, please don't set up rules for debating, if I feel something personal towards PuppetZ comments, I see it as relavant to state it. Mehz, why do you pinpoint every little detail in my comments, instead of focusing on the real debate. Can't see your point, which you furthermore change constantly.

Why don't you shut up (excuse me my poor english disallows me to use another phrasal verb). cuz is about fun and if "fun" involves competing then let it be... I'm still around cuz of the demos. I'm always impressed by some new recs but I don't care who's the best at all. Why do i need it ? Will it be much interesting around if i have my "KZ-King"? No. For example I like brian's innovativity and the ability to do every unit of the map as fast as he can (i like the same about zhady). I like t3d's and PuppetZ's style, samb's surprising comebacks, the newcommers' bhop skills etc etc... Chill out and have fun around. That's all KZ's about ^_-

everyoen has maps there good at and maps there not so good at. obviously brian isnt better then 007 on sandblock. its just not his map. but it doesnt mean hes not good or anything. dont diss on brian or i will have to go medieval on your ass :/
