Even though I do want the millisecond system badly, I'd like to see the timer itself, since it gives a hint of the time. I don't really know why I want to see it, but I guess it has something to do with pure nostalgy. So... option #2, "see the ingame timer", for me!

06/03/2010 16:25:00

anyway the plugin that blocks the timer doesn't affect the realtime plugin, so why wouldn't we have the choice to hide it or not?

06/03/2010 16:26:00

See ingame timer, why not? Beside that, does it take, to disable ingame timer, some effort (which isn't necesarry at all) like installing a plug-in or so?

06/03/2010 16:26:00

I still want to see it.

06/03/2010 16:26:00

Decimal timer for sure up to .x because there are a lot of timerbugged demos including my icebean, and I'm looking forward to remove ingame system.. The vote like that one already was before, where ingame won, now I ask you to think about it carefully, dear users. >.>

06/03/2010 16:28:00

And yea koukouz +1. Black timer is not needable at all in my opinion.

06/03/2010 16:30:00

kzuq`Adantoud: Miliseconds will be used for world record section anyway, this vote is just a question regarding the optic/style of the gameplay with the new plugin (you can see a beta of it in koukouz's latest wr demos).

06/03/2010 16:33:00

Oh, I didn't understand the poll exactly )) Then I choose black timer, btw I voted 1

06/03/2010 16:33:00

Both imo.

06/03/2010 16:37:00

Me either, after taking a look at it I voted #2

06/03/2010 16:43:00

Def see the timer, it gives you an idea of what time you get

06/03/2010 16:47:00

Don't forget that the decimal time will be shown at the end of the demo. It's not as if you make a time, but have to check it with a program to see what's the exact time.

06/03/2010 16:48:00

if 1 won the timer wont be active and why should we (the mappers) put the kz-timer in our maps then?

06/03/2010 16:58:00

If you guys would like to see 1 happen, future maps might not need timers anymore, only start + stop buttons.

06/03/2010 17:11:00

Keep it default, show the timer.

06/03/2010 17:53:00

Can anyone send me that plugin which shows realtime in game?

06/03/2010 18:00:00

FreestyleR-_-: We be released soon (part of Official XJ AMXX pack v2.0).

06/03/2010 18:09:00

Keep the timer imo. Just start/stop buttons with a plugin showing you what time you got... well just seems kind of dull. Besides the ingame timer isn't all that inaccurate.

06/03/2010 18:50:00

which is the difference if anyways the ingame timer will be ignored?

06/03/2010 18:50:00

imo its good without timer if that plugin works 100% correct because its save resources but kreedz created the kz-timer to be used and imo if 1 win its good to keep the timer in the maps since not every jump server will dl xj_timer.amxx

06/03/2010 19:08:00

sweet plugin where can i dl it ? and btw, i saw searching for a plugin that does EXACTLY what this plugin does for a long time, even asked in chat ...

06/03/2010 20:18:00

what is "milisecond system" ?

06/03/2010 21:52:00

I want to see it 1. timers are often are part of map design/theme 2. timer entities can be related to other map entities I dont see any good reasons to disable it.

06/03/2010 22:04:00

I want to see it because of something like habbit

07/03/2010 00:26:00

see it! For run and battle movies! :D

07/03/2010 02:45:00

i'd like to keep it, just to see a basic time, and for the look.

07/03/2010 10:27:00

Keep it :) It's more fun.

07/03/2010 12:20:00

Keep it. Still gives some kind of indication to your time towards the end. Tells you if you need to do those extra 2 bhops at the end :P

07/03/2010 15:06:00

Show The Timer

07/03/2010 23:37:00

second vote. why not?

08/03/2010 00:06:00

see the ingame timer be still active (mostly showing a wrong/different time than the realtime) Of course

08/03/2010 12:04:00

keep the timer so you can actually play a map without any plugins etc. I'm thinking of a scenario where some guy finds out about kz maps, downloads one, but it only has start/stop buttons and he never gets to know his time :P well not a big deal, but you get it.

08/03/2010 14:48:00

keep it for the looks

08/03/2010 16:59:00

REMOVE THE BUGGIEST TIMER EVER MADE (sorry kreedz :D)

08/03/2010 17:43:00

i prefer keeping the timer. it's a part of kreedz map though we don't need it anymore

08/03/2010 22:12:00

well the timer shows that you are "near" the wr and when you see the real time you can see if your time is wr or not!

09/03/2010 11:03:00

voted #2, i don't see any good reason to hide it . imo it's better to see the in-game timer first, because when u record demos, you look at the timer and check it with another program only if the in-game timer is really close. If you disable it, then you have to take more time to check each demo you think to be close to wr, and that sucks.

10/03/2010 02:49:00

not needing ingame timer doesn't mean that it should be removed.. you dont need the ambience of the map, so keep the jumps and a skybox (stupid example, yeah)

10/03/2010 02:51:00

i cant edit my post :( other idea is that if the mapper wants, he can remove the timer. maybe?

10/03/2010 04:39:00

option 2

10/03/2010 16:13:00

SvP you didn't get the idea of this plugin. When you hit the stop button, it tells you exactly what time you have achieved, +miliseconds.

10/03/2010 22:26:00

omfg way would u wanna have a wrong plugin its obivious that u should add a third "option fix it or ask someone to fix it" so i would vote for new option but wrong is wrong so for me it is 1 :gah:

10/03/2010 22:30:00

DONT DOWNLOAD XJ PACK 2.0 IT CRASHES THE GAME WHEN U PUT ALL PLUGINS U CANT EVEN START A MAP!!! DONT DL IT DONT TRUST:google: TRUST ME

11/03/2010 16:26:00

ofcourse keep it,because without it i would have to go back and check everything with demolyser (which I'd do anyways). for battle movies, and it just keeps the style!

12/03/2010 08:59:00

i get it w1zz, but if someone doesn't have the latest xj pack with the plugin that shows you the exact time, then how would you get an idea of what time you achieved if the in-game timer is disabled ? you'd have to check each and every demo you recorded to see the time. and btw, this poll is not about the plugin you are talking about. read the headline again. :P

15/03/2010 07:48:00

rZm l clear rofl.. get yourself a legal copy of cs and shut the fuck up. Btw, SvP got a point about the battlemovies.. otherwise it should be hidden since then mappers wouldn't have to include timers in their maps and could save up the entity usage by that.

16/03/2010 13:49:00

for communityblock it would be very nice if the mapper can kick the ingame timer. like remake said, it would save many entitys and so its easier to create the map with a normal look and standard frames....

16/03/2010 23:04:00

Removing timer would be absolutely nonsense! Many (maybe most) communities are mostly non-steam based. Secondly, most of the communities aren't going to rank demos by hundreths.

17/03/2010 19:37:00

ok I think it's already pretty clear which option's gonna win, start accepting demos pls =)
