Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

Hey guys,

here we go again with the next tow maps that made it through the public map nominations. Others might follow soon.

kkz_texture made by Koukouz

A lot of people regard this as one of their favorite non-official maps, so a lot of you guys did choose to vote for it and make it official. Koukouz was nice enough to make an improved version of his maps, for more details about it please check the corresponding thread in the map nominations forum. Anyway, about the map... our beloved projumper zhady once wrote "this map was like a so called turning point in my KZ-career. When I was about to quit, this map brought back hope first of all to me" - I guess that pretty much explains how inspiring the map is for some of you guys. Enough of the words, let's wait and see who's the first to submit an amazing record on this beast :)

Hey guys,

I got a nice present for you, which is hopefully going to help you guys surviving the utterly hot days we're having atm. This is also the first release under the new mapcheck system, even though kz_waterplant still got submitted under the old one. However, uq_suncliff is the first map that made it through the nominations.

kz_waterplant made by red

red from sweden is back with yet another great map! kz_waterplant has an amazingly oldschool feeling and a great climb as well: you start deep down in some caves and realize the hp button is locked /(oh noes). Anyway, you have to make your way out of the caves until you reach the outdoor part of the map.. You think you're done yet? Let the map surprise you... :)

Hey guys,

as you noticed a 248 units bhop lj demo got submitted to XJ - and a video was posted in the chatbox already.
However, this demo is cheated.

Gerituh used MSL (aka mousespeedlimit) in his demo to get an unfair and illegal advantage:

248_bj_gerituh submitted by Gerituh: MSL/mousespeedlimit

I feel sad for all the guys that were happy about the demo, but no new record was set today.

I'll be back with more happy news tomorrow though, promised ;)

Hello, everyone!
Being this my first demo release, I would like to thank everyone who has been there for me, who has supported me as an admin here at Xtreme-Jumps. I'd like to thank faker, the one who made it all happen, for everything, and also ndR, for having the patience to teach me how to do demo releases.

With no further yada-yada, here are the World Records of this release.

Hey people,

here I come with a surprise during the grand ESWC CounterStrike final match...
Which is of course a kz movie!

Koukouz strikes back with a rather good amount of impressive trickjumps. He wanted me to point out the fact that 90% of the jumps were made in August 2009 and that some of them were made in the need of the production, to create the best final content.
This is made by Jackey.lia, an unknown moviemaker here in Xtreme-Jumps, but who is really famous in the chinese community.

Good evening everybody!

Jumpers, the community formerly known as hidenseek.eu, are these days holding a 2man tournament - Climb Mates.
The tournament is open for everybody who wants to participate, all that is required is to be a registrated user on their website

Some words about the tournament from the arranger, noqex:
Climb Mates is supposed to be a fun and enjoyable event with some teamwork required, therefore we have put our very own mapper SMK1337 on the case, he will be developing some more 2man maps for you all to play, and this is only one of many upcoming events!

For different reasons three players of our league are not able to continue playing: Memories, volte and w1zz.
The result of every match from these players is now a 0:5 lost. For example, the match Memories against chrizZo with the real result 1:4 is now a 0:5. Like that the rankings might be a bit displaced or even uncorrect according to the real results, keep that in mind.

The future matches of Memories will be played by

Congratulations to hateR for sending us a lovely demo on rpz_downfall in which he used amx plugins to teleport himself in an unreachable place and then use the hook to start the timer with much speed.
Enjoy your 2 weeks ban.

You can find the cheatdemo here: rpz_downfall[boxes]_hateR_0005.17
