Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

As you might have noticed there's been a while since the last mapping contest, so now it's time to kick it again!

And of course with a mapping contest we need a few guidelines:

§ You can do it in whatever difficulty you want, but preferably Easy to Average so everybody can jump it.
§ The length should be around ~4 minutes. (Jump time)
§ There's no need to sign up for anything, just have your map ready when the deadline is.

Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you XJ's Weekly #70

The votes have been counted and we have some new folks heading for Xtreme-Jumps, five map checkers and four cup administrators.
As you all know from the last "pickup" by us, there is an evaluation period of two weeks, which basically means that you will do the work for two weeks, then we will pick the ones we think is doing the best job.

Anyway, the happy chosen ones are:

Hey guys,

We have 4 new Maps for you.

kz_tomorrow by zengal

This new kz map takes place in a futuristic environment. You start outside a big building and you have to work your way in there! Its stuffed with cool details and great jumps. Can you figure out the secret at the end?

kz_adventure2 by radon:

Well this map is not like the old adventure map, its longer and better! You go through a lot of different places with cool jumps! oh and there might be a secret or two.

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

it's not a big secret that the XJ Jumpservers were not the most popular servers out there...
I would even go that far and say that they were the weakest part of XJ, because there were a LOT better servers out there and most of you guys preferred to jump at these other servers.

But guess what... this could change right NOW!

After years of struggle and us trying to find skilled and motivated people for this project it was finally realized and we have been developing the new plugin for serveral months in XJ's hidden testlab.

2. You need to be able to write and speak english fluently.
3. You need to know how to use IRC (mIRC or other IRC clients).
4. You need to be previously unwarned on the site.

chosen got introduced to the kz-scene about 1½ years ago, he had heard some rumors about the famous bunny hop and decided to check it out.
The first map he decided to look at was kz_man_streetclimb, obviously as the beginner he was, he had a hard time completing the map, but he liked what he saw, and decided to persue the kz scene.
About 2 months later, he found out about a community called Xtreme jumps. He seemed to like what he saw, because today 1½ years later, he's still playing kz.

Dear user,

due to the recent vote the rules were just updated one more time to make your visit on our site as pleasant as possible. The Website rules were reduced to the real important points and the Community Guidelines were added and re-written, to give the new (or old) users a better overview about the basic rules for our lovely community.

We hope you like it and that anyone will benefit from this. ;)
