Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

Hello guys ;)

This week has been absolutely the most boring week ever, concerning rumours. So I tried to gather as much as I could. But anyway, what I've gathered is okay, I suppose. It's better than a bag full of feathers!

If you got any rumours or stuff you think that would fit, please give it to me, else I have no chance to collect all rumours out there, and believe me, most of the stuff people don't think is good enough, is really good, and would fit perfectly, so help a lad, give me your stuff :)

Hey guys,

there are a lot of new and wonderful news about KZMod, the Climbing Mod for Half-Life 2. Time for a newsflash!

- Senior Engineer Yahn Bernier from Valve helped SoUlFaThEr and his team to fix the nasty wallbug. That's what SoUlFaThEr wrote in the latest news: I have tested the Wall Bug fixes and its 95% gone!
- Raptor, one of the the new coders, found a way to control the demo settings - what is definitely required to detect cheaters. This is a pretty big step in the right direction, because clean demos are a main part of running a real community.

The interview is over and as promised I'll post it.

Was very exciting in my opinion.

Tonight at 20:00 there will be a public interview with the headleader of Femina United who runs ideas and arrangements at Dreamhack.

This is truely a big step in the KZ worlds' history! This is going to be big.

Do not miss it!

I will post the interview on the site afterwards.

The interview will start 20:00 and will happen on the mIRC channel #KZDH on Quakenet.

PS. This channel opens at 18:00 tonight.

GREETINGS FROM, FEMINA UNITED, XTREME-JUMPS, KZMAPS and DREAMHACK

Hi guys,

because there've been a lot of requests to update the public version of fps-Death, and because our coder eDark had some spare time to share, we decided to release a new version.

What's new in fps-Death 1.2.1 public?

- Edgefriction was added to the cvar list
- The engine FPS and, that's new, the real FPS are dipslayed now.
->Note: The record list on XJ is oriented on the engine fps!

You can get the new version at the

Hey guys,

Hey guys, I don't have a lot of news for you today, but it’s alright! I’ll try to find more for this next week, it’s only 7 days away.

Just check the extended news ;)

Hi guys,

unfortunately there are 2 new cheater:

diaboliC (registered on the website with the nickname "Malcoh") uploaded a 260 units longjump demo with sv_gravity 670.

With uploading this demo he actually violated against 3 different rules:

1. Cheating in a LJ demo.
2. Upload a LJ demo with the upload form. (once again: It's for record demos only - NOT for LJ demos).
3. He did the longjump on kzfr_longjump. If you want to get an official longjump record you have to do it on kz_longjumps.

As many of you allready know, a 254 units demo was submitted in the LJ thread earlier today.

The jumper called Shouter used the same program as biao which reduced the ingame speed. This was giving them the chance to perform their longjumps in slowmotion, which means them both had a lot of time to make their strafes with a perfect timing. That's a big advantage and is regarded as cheat, of course.
