Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

Four demos has been removed because of a rule that has changed. It was previously allowed to move vehicles before pushing the start button, but not to destroy breakable objects or push any other buttons (except HP boosters). This rule made no sense at all so we decided to remove it. This affects four demos: kz_man_alienbase, kz_man_eznasa, kz_man_nasa and kz_peak_b02.

This is what the rule looks like now:

Hi guys,

the kz_rambo_xen demo by PlAyMo was removed from our Demo section.

The reason is simple: Bugusing.

The platform that PlAyMo used to be teleported to the end only appears in the when u finished the map once and pressed the end button, so this is an abuse of the Rules:

You may not destroy brakeable objects (like bridges for example) or push buttons (with an exception for HP boosters and moving vehicles like in kz_man_nasa or kz_man_alienbase) before you have pushed the start button.

There are now rules availible for custom maps to make it easier to submit maps. Read the rules by clicking this link.

Because of these new rules, slD_bside_avalley was not added to our mappool. But it was added to the custom maps forum thread.

The last chance to apply as Cupadmin is coming, you have time to apply until today midnight. The new Cupadmins will be announced tomorrow at 8pm in our IRC-Channel!

Here's an update on what's happening with the kzmod:

"A few things to mention: I have updated each of the map pages with the corrected status of each map. On some of them more information has been offered or screenshots have been replaced.
I also bring you some screenshots of 2 brand new maps: kz_man_madness2 by SoUlFaThEr and kz_brooklyn by Millet. That makes a total of 10 maps...+2 that I refuse to show you before the release.hehehe...so there will be 12 in all and thats a lot for a new mod!!
Along with this I have also done some touch up work on the 3dsky of kz_cathedral and much has been done to kz_freezing_ridge and new pics for both maps have been updated as well! Be sure to check the screens pages for those pics.....
Coming soon will be screenshots of the player model which is nearly finished by Crystalman. "

Due to the new update of our record section (php system and stuff :D) i want to introduce our new Custom Map (=Non-KZ Maps) policy:

First of all i have to announce that 3 maps have been removed from our record list:

rr_2caves_e and rr_2caves_h
(we think nobody is playing the maps because of the low fps rates and the hard jumps).

The maps, and in addition dr0_surfari, will be added again when a record demo of the map(s) was recorded.

We have updated the version of kz_cursed_tomb in the download section.
There were two different versions out there, one which was included in the KZ#FR mappack and one which was in our download section and in the download section on kreedz.com
I talked to SoUlFaThEr to find out what's the right and official version. He told me that the version which is included in the KZ#FR mappack is the right and fps optimized version. So we and kreedz.com are updating our download sections to clear this.
