After the big change in the demo rules everyone thought that some players would stop recording. But the past release just shown the opposite, so many demos! Congratulations to everyone!

However only one run can be the chosen one and so today is time to unleash the bulgarian beast known as "shNz". I am not sure what you think, but

Hey everybody,

As you remember from the last post, we are searching for new admins who want to help out and have time to do so!
Not all positions are open for the moment, but here are the ones we do need:

We need a Coder to take care of the Xtreme-Jumps website, who also has the skill and time to do so during these busy times with the integration of all the mods and changing around some other stuff.

Also we would like to create a small

Hello community,

Starting today, XJ will make some changes for its future plans!

1. As you all know we talked about implementing other jumping mods, officially supported by XJ. KZMod, followed soon by CSGO KZ will be the first ones to come and we are trying to get it done as fast as we can. After that, SURF, SLIDE and HideNSeek will be added to the list of mods that will become part of the Xtreme-Jumps community.

Hello community,

Last week we asked you for your opinion regarding +use scripts usage and we finally took a decision. It was not an easy decision and like it or not, it had to be done. Current 119 illegal records are going to be replaced with legal ones as they do not obey the following rule:

You are not allowed to use any script or metamod or amxx plugins that give you an advantage to other jumpers.

For several years this rule was ignored by demo admins, but it always was forbidden to use any kind of +use scripts or macros.

Hello community,

So the time has come for a new COO to be appointed. After I had the blessing from the former head admins, I have decided to give the new COO title to Coppenst.

He is a very mature guy, down to earth, who has shown responsibility throughout the time and after all the daily talks I had with him, he seems like someone on whom I can count on.
It wasn't an easy decision, as this is a very important job that requires a lot of time, effort and dedication. It's also not a title we can play with, as it also requires continuity.

Hey!

That was Weekly Cup #19 - Thx to all players, spectators and tIdAL_WaVE-iKz-! We had some really nice and exciting matches, but.. see for yourself!

Brief and to the point:

Day 1 VOD:[Twitch Link]twitch.tv/igtidalwaveikz/b/655468624
Day 2 VOD:[Twitch Link]twitch.tv/igtidalwaveikz/b/655795395

Brackets:[Twitch Link]XJ Challonge Page

We hope to announce next Cup as soon as possible.

Hey!

We only got 12 players, so the brackets will look a bit different. To explain the advancing system, i'll quote Weekly Cup #18's news:

[quote="3's" ShoCk="ShoCk"]Players from round one that advance to round two will have an advantage over the opponent of eliminating both maps, hence an opponent is not required to make choices.[/quote]

We are starting soon - dont forget to add me on Steam.

Hey there,

We have to announce a possibility of a total restriction of +use spam based binds and scripts, including bind on scroll. We came to this decision after we faced some problems in checking demos with such scripts usage – it makes almost impossible to get run time of a demo. With our current tools it is possible to check run time only for the maps which were made in 2010 or earlier and totally

Hey!

As you may already know Hardbitter 3's is not able to continue organizing cups for a while. Until he comes back, `ScraP and me will take care of this. We start with Weekly Cup #19 on next saturday...

Hello there, and welcome to the 155th edition of the Run Of The Week!

Today we proudly present you a surprising ROTW! The last release was astonishing, every demo being really good and we have felt the pressure of ''choosing'' the suitable one for our ROTW. This time I have to say: you guys are insane! Stop being that awesome or I will have to quit my job. It is just too hard to choose "The Best Run Of The Week"!

Hello community,

To be quite honest, when we first started this we thought it will be enjoying cleaning up the community. The thought of starting fresh was overwhelming. But now, we have come to realize that our actions will also do some damage. We already knew that, but somehow, as we go deeper into the problem we get that feeling of awareness and suddenly everything feels more "real".

I guess this is because we kind of have the first major player about to be banned.

Before we start a war because of this ROTW I have to say, and believe me, this was one of the hardest choices we had to make in ROTW history. Not the hardest though, but it is for sure in the top5. Amazing demos were released but two particular demos were even better than the rest:
