Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

We hoped that the submissions will be increasing as the deadline is coming up day by day, but unfortunately the initiative we have gotten from mappers is as low as the possible minimum, which did obviously leave us disappointed. However, this amount is enough to continue the tournament and the maps are pretty dope. So prepare yourselves for the results of the opening stage while we're testing the maps out more carefully. The results will be announced as soon as the maps are checked in-depth in the upcoming newspost of the current newsline.

Just a friendly reminder to all who signed up for the event. 11th March, 2013 - the deadline is already around the corner. We have gotten a literally few map submissions so far and we're hoping that more maps will come. 23:59 PM is the closing time for your submissions. Gratitudes to everyone who submitted their creations as well as to those who are still working on them and waiting for the highlight. Be in time and good luck.

Following a team meeting regarding the update we have now decided to re-open demo submissions however we strongly suggest that before submitting demos you check the demos settings as the update has caused various problems with people's settings, if a person submits a demo with an illegal setting the demo will be denied and the person will be informed without any punishment however if they then continue to submit more demos with illegal settings they will be punished just like anybody else, also the next demo release will not be done until next week as we have some additional thing's to check over regarding backdated problems, however we hope to have that done by monday.

Hello, dear audience!

I thought you won't mind having a little surprise, will you?
As the title reveals, we are going to have a glance at those oldschool map projects which Kreedz had mentioned previously.

Tonight we are having SadPuppy as a guest, who kindly accepted the offer to provide some information about the maps.

Enjoy!

As you all know, last week valve release an update to counter-strike 1.6, unfortunately this caused a lot of errors for almost everybody and sadly due to this we will have to suspend submitting demos and suggest you don't record until we can sort out some of these problems as it could cause a lot of illegal demos and various other problems, this also includes "Leggie's monthly challenge" which will be delayed until 14/3/2013.

Hello there, welcome to the 107th edition of the Run Of The Week!

Is shNz getting back on track?

Three of the last nine ROTWs are his. He appeared on all three latest demo releases. And when he does that it's like nothing else matters. Everything is going white and his name stands out. That's some serious achievement if you ask me. Well hats of shNz, you made us admire you... and you always get the spotlight^^

Hey,

it's time to release another new record performed by the new LJ talent LyNn: a new highjump world record with amazing 246 units and 255.86 units stats.

TonTo provided a really amazing clip for your viewing pleasure, which is showing the amazing jump to those who would rather see it in a short movie instead of watching the demo.

We are aware that the rumors were already spread over the whole website and basically everybody knows that some other records has been set as well. As I already mentioned in the previous news post, the remaining demo is going to follow within the next week and is going to get their own little presentation!

Ladies and Gentlemen, fasten your seatbelts!

The time has come, though I believe you already know what are you about to witness. Yes, as the title reveals, it's time for a movie full of edgebugs! Jumps by.. take a guess? The oldschool legendary trickjumper and recorder, k3g, is back providing his unbelievable and always trustworthy edgebugs.

Wait, that's not all! This time he has invited his collegue

The Big Tournament 2013 is a huge concept for a brand new contest as this. The idea is to make a competition among all the different aspects that kreedz basically stands for. That's right, Mappers, Recorders and Moviemakers, unite! All of you have a chance to take part in the project, there is no restrictions.

Hey together,

once again it's time for some amazing longjump skills. I'm sure LyNn is no new name to most of our users at this anymore, so today it's time to announce the new DCJ world record with amazing 274 units Countjump and 275.013 units stats.

pheil provided a high quality clip for you, which is showing the amazing jump to those who would rather see it in a short movie instead of watching the demo.

Hello there, welcome to the 106th edition of the Run Of The Week!

LEWLY, how do you do it man?

When brian was getting out of this map an astonishing time of 2m57s, everyone said that that's it. Guess what? That was definitely not it.
But for me there is no surprise to what LEWLY did now. He is an old customer of this map. Back in 2008 he was the one who took the WR from brian. And I would dare to say that not even now this is definitely not it. I see a bright future of improvements for this one. Mark my words!

Hey there,

once again it's time for our monthly series leggie's challenge.

A little recap:

leggie's monthly challenge is a brand new series, which will be a monthly event that takes place in the first days of a new month and is about breaking an announced map as fast as possible in the ongoing month.

If you are the lucky guy that was able to perform the best time at the end of the month, a prize money of 50$ will be transfered to your paypal account, sponsored by leggie. If nobody beats the map, the prize money for the next month will be doubled up.

Run Of The Week Classics is now in spotlight, with its 4th edition!

Who is Alts!cH?

Alts!cH belongs to the first generation of KZ. Not many of you know this, but he was the direct competition of the all time legend T3dbundy.
He got pretty well known after their movie,Potatismos, was released. And I say they because among Alts!cH it featured two of his friends, FikoN and kimo.
He also was the one to first beat some LJ boundaries and a great bhopper as well.
