Hey!

Just a little over a week since the last moviemaking newspost and we are back with another one to present you a very special edit! This time we are not summarizing recent edits but we are exclusively focusing on the newest creation by Shad0ws and Lws!

shooting-star on kz_ea_waterfall (by Shad0ws & Lws)

A lot of recently released World Records are dominated by shooting-star - just a quick glance at the Latest Demos table confirms that by waving the Czech flag in front of our eyes. This time we will focus on a map by radon - kz_ea_waterfall should at least ring a bell for most Kreedz Climbers. This legendary map was a host for WRs by zhady, ndR, brian, Cypek, KeltA and many others, but recently it was all about the back and forth between shooting-star and pepi. This time shooting-star beats the previous time by over 5 seconds and breaks the magic barrier of 3-minutes run by delivering impressive time 02:58.70!

Dear Community,

It is not often that we encounter cases as complex and puzzling as outside’s over the years. In most situations, we simply announce our decision and move on without sharing sensitive details about the reasoning behind it. However, given the extraordinary nature of this case, we believe the community deserves an insight into its full history, along with as many details as we can reasonably share.

Hello Community!

Today we would like to present you our newest premiere, summarize recent edits and give few smaller updates. Let's go!

shooting-star on kz_adv_underground (by Thunder)

shooting-star has been on fire lately, dropping multiple new world records with impressive time improvements. Probably all of them could be edited, this time his run on kz_adv_underground has been chosen. The map itself is a classic - over two decades of history with some of the most recognizable names within the community as previous record holders. Last couple of years however seems like a constant battle between two giants: rawe and shooting-star. This time shooting-star improves the record by way over 7 seconds!

Well done to the 13 player(s) who participated this month, breaking a total of 27 world record(s)!

Dear Kreedz Community,

We are pleased to announce the return of the Kreedz.ee Weekly Tournament, a recurring competition format designed for players seeking a serious and structured challenge in the world of CS 1.6 Kreedz.

Originally launched as a community initiative on Kreedz.ee, the Weekly Tournament has been refined and reintroduced with a new website, improved gameserver infrastructure, and full automation. Whether you are a long-time climber or a newcomer to the competitive Kreedz scene, this event is an opportunity to test your skill, consistency, and determination each week.

Howdy folks,

We’re excited to announce that komi has set a new world record with a 195-unit ladder jump, surpassing the previous record by a massive 5 units. This is not only a new record, but likely the largest margin ever between ladder jump records, and certainly the biggest we’ve seen in recent memory.  The previous record of 190 units was held by Beterok, who had set a high bar for what was possible. But komi managed to far surpass it by utilizing the mouseslap technique, the second time it’s ever been applied in a ladder jump world record, with GameChaos's 186 former WR being the first.

Hello Kreedz world!

On March 8th, 2025, we introduced the Live Demo System — a new way to share and celebrate Kreedz world records as they happen. Since then, we’ve released 91 demos, and this newspost is dedicated to showcasing them all — a tribute to the incredible players who continue to push the limits, challenge one another, and elevate the competition to the highest level.

We’ve also heard your feedback: while many enjoy the immediacy of the live system, others miss the structure and visibility of our traditional newsposts. So, to bring you the best of both worlds, we're happy to announce that starting this month, we'll automatically publish a newspost every month, summarizing all the demos released during the previous month.
