End of the Internet?

What do you think?
Not a joke.
that never will ocurr...
Obama will stop it!
Even if it did happen, people would ddos every major site.
I'm sure a few ISP's will do this, but they will lose all their customers and return it back to normal. IMO the only major changes we will see from now to 2012 is bandwidth caps, and more anti-piracy measures. By 2010 it's said that most internet connections will be > 40mbps because of some new protocol that's coming out.
as reliable as peter's broken leg.
lol. This one was also posted at another forum where I am at.. I think those guys were comedians or something ^^
hahahahaha funny O_o
I think that they're trying to have many views..thats my opinion..

Pretty much all of Athene's videos are like that. I'm betting they're fake as fuck (actors) like purepwnage and just want money.

think you have confused intra- with inter-.
well, I dunno what exactly internet providers are planning, but imo something like that may happen even another way,
in few years, when internet connections will be fast enough, people will start to store more and more data on the internet,
and who has enough money to make such a storage place?
- Google -
it even has its own office pack in progress and imo, soon or later, it will develop its own super-powerful operating system with operations supported from remote servers,
its the first thing how we will pay for using internet, you can surely imagine what fees could google make up if this phase came.. I dont thing it would tho.

uhm. The data isn't just stored in one huge server. But I guess you know that :P So I dont see the problem.
Webhost companies earn high amounts of money from their services, and therefore they have enough money to buy more storage space and servers to satisfy us other mortals. So I dont see the problem there either.
(If theres something I have missed or misunderstood, please tell me :P)

Google is one of the biggest companies in the world, so I think they have enough resources to be able to cope with the future.

well I read that google already kinda counts with it, it also has very hight trustworthiness and the best advertising possibilities, and also employs the best programmers which can develop very good storage system with, as I said, probably also system boost

nope. just guessin
it won't hap pen lol. Internet is a public WAN, no one owns it (maybe you could say IANA owns it a little bit :P).
but if that by any weird reason should occur, hackers would probably just use their own networks with ipv6 and its enormous wide address space.
