always tell him improve the first strafe, he will jump more, right?
Well... I remember a player from here called Soad that jumped even 257 stats and the very first 256 block of kzarg with low airtime and gain at his 1st strafe. Demo of his 256 block. So, keep doing it if you feel confortable.

well ofc its still possible to get big stats with a small 1st strafe but i personally think getting a slightly bigger 1st str will make the jumps more consistent.
atm hes pretty much relying on his 9th to compensate for the lack of gain on the 1st.
still good stats
8.0 airtime on first strafe and 274 prestrafe seems like a freggen mystery to me, i can barely get mine below 15

Try to make standup action (unpress +duck, +jump) as later as you can* and start strafing a bit faster.

probably, that speed loss isnt very big tbh but yah try faster strafes.

The loss should lose u around 0.5 units probably. However the bigger problem I would say is that first strafe with 15 airtime and only 11 gain. Either reduce it till 13-14 or try hitting 12ish gain with the same airtime.
