First of all: What you need to know.
I use ZHLT compiler.
I searched in google and XJ Forum.
Found This Theard.
http://xtreme-jumps.eu/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?29347.post
I got all files from XJ_mappingpack 0.4

So please help me.

Sorry for my english.

Mentalo12/06/2008 20:31

thats not really the log is it? or am i dumb xD

Ever1x12/06/2008 20:38

If this isn't a log, then where can I find log?

8ball1 mapper moviemaker VIP12/06/2008 20:43

log = yourmapname.log
i think the problem come from hammer configuration

Ever1x12/06/2008 20:59

I think becouse of ZHLT

dEMolite mapper12/06/2008 22:35

again the compiler tools are dos/unix* based programms relative paths doesn't work there.
How To Fix it?
Remove the spaces between the foldernamens

Ever1x12/06/2008 23:54

Removed.
Still I don't get log file.
Now I get this.

How i can change directory? To somewhere else

Pf0llz0r mapper13/06/2008 09:25

First of, try to use the same harddrive for the compiler and the mapping files. Having different drives can cause problems.

Second, "documents and settings", as dEMolite said:

So I need to put VHE in C:\ ?
Moved VHE to C:, still nothing happens! Same log

edited: I was thinking, meybe it's becouse of my user(or computer) settings.

I started making maps 3 days ogo, but then i could compile maps.
I never got maps.log's (I would like to have).

once when I wanted to compile map It showed me http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1and2se0.jpg, I was reading only 1, but not 2, so I don't know if then it was the same Error
Sorry for my English :D

Here is some SS http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1and2ll0.jpg http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=compilinggp7.jpg of my VHE Settings

Why don't you read pf0llz0rs and my post? There is standing the fix.
You have blank spaces in your path...

Ever1x13/06/2008 17:26

dEMolite, Why don't you look at ScreenShot's
http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1and2ll0.jpg http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=compilinggp7.jpg

Igge13/06/2008 21:26

Why do u post 2 stupid screen shots as a reply? He's trying to explain that it might have to do with the blank spaces in "Documents and Setting".

dEMolite mapper13/06/2008 22:00

Shadow look in that pic: http://img179.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1and2se0.jpg

The *.map file is in a path where there are blank spaces. If you will place the *.map file in a directory like c:\mapping oder d:\mapping it will compile fine, because there aren't any blank spaces.

Command line C:\VHE\ZHLT\hlrad.exe "c:\documents and settings\user"

The main problem in here is that hlrad.exe is trying to get access "c:\documents and settings\user" but the system cannot find the file. Because the hlcsg hlbsp hlvis hlrad can't make the path to a relative path. A relative path would be like D:\Mapping\ZHLTCO~1\hlcsg.exe

I dunno why but the input path to the map file can't be made to a relative path thats why the mapfile needs to be placed in a folder where the name has no blank spaces in it like "C:\mapping; D:\VHE\Sourcefiles" instead of: "c:\documents_and_settings\user"

_ means that there is a space in the foldername!

Ever1x14/06/2008 11:50(edited 14/06/2008 11:52)

Now I can compile. I only did File>Export to .map and saved in documents and settings. Blank spaces wasn't a problem I think! I only needed to Export!
New problem with hlvis!

aehm why do you send us only parts of the log?
if you want that we should help you then you need to post us the complet logfile

well... it says you have no entities. did you delete them all?

dEMolite mapper14/06/2008 21:05(edited 14/06/2008 22:05)

entitys have high priority in the hull creation on bsp proceduro to create pointfiles. if there aren't any entitys in the map the hull proceduro will stopped but no pointfiles will be created thats why he will stop after the hlbsp part.

/edit btw for problems which should be solved faster you can contact us over irc. we can solve such problems over irc faster than over a forum
