IE really is not good:D microsoft have struggled so much not to follow web standards defined by the w3c that it simply is not good:D since IE v.7 improvements have been made, but it still fails in lot's of aspects when it comes to following standards. m$ mostly try 2 create their own standards and earn sum more $$ :<

Fatalis15/06/2008 21:18(edited 15/06/2008 21:19)

ie5 beat ie7/8 in the acid3 standards test. ie8 was supposed to be more standards compliant.

KNiFEAR15/06/2008 22:20

when it comes to javascript it seems that many browser-developers run their own races. however with html and css the newer versions of IE (i.e. >= v. 7) is said to be more compilant with standards, and that's something that you actually notice while developing weblayouts using valid *html + css.
