Self-explanatory, really. My question is how can you (if you even CAN) get more than 8 textures to work when using ZHLT? It only lets you compile with 8 max textures in hammer options (as many already know). Is there some option i change in the hlcsg.exe file or somethin? not a HUGE deal but its a bit annoying having the limit. Thx-zorz

Textures != Wadfiles

You can use so many textures if you want, but you can't use over 8wadfiles...

err yeah i meant wad files not textures my bad...but so theres no way to get over 8 with zhlt? darn.

you can use more than 8! I dont even have to include them in batch! Ive never rly had problems with wads! but i only use 2 atm :P

try addíng over 8 wadfiles ín hammer and then try to compile that map mentaL_o you will notice the problem.

Timmycakes:
i would recommand to create a wadfile for the map or even to remove the useless wadfiles. The useless wadfiles can be read out of the logfile where used textures 0 0.0% is.

i think its when you have used textures dispersed throughout more than 8 WADs, not how many you have loaded. but yeah, i agree with demolite, just make a wadfile for the map.

ya i did. *thank you wadfather!* ima just do that from now on. im sick of wad files with like 2 textures in em. BIG WAD FILES FTW!

lol i dont even have wads in batch compiler but it works perfectly, i never had problem with wads/textures :O
