userconfig.cfg doesnt work
does anyone one why my userconfig file isnt working? i have exec userconfig.cfg in end of "config.cfg" file but any command in userconfig doesnt work??!?!
exec userconfig.cfg ingame :) and what kind of commands do u have in userconfig.cfg ?
if you want the default..is config.cfg not..
Why you need it at all?
userconfig.cfg is used by many players to store custom commands, like special binds, aliases, or anything else...
config.cfg automatically executes userconfig.cfg when u start cs... so this means that userconfig.cfg is just an extension of config.cfg...
i had the problem that sometimes, config.cfg wouldn`t record the changes i`ve made ingame using the console (changing different cvars, or client commands) so i started saving my custom binds (cp/tp , /start , recording binds, etc...) in userconfig.cfg
all i can say vertiko is to look again in config.cfg and make sure that exec userconfig.cfg is written at the bottom of it... if it is... make sure that userconfig.cfg exists, and is named correctly.

boom.dll your config wont save your new settings because you have filled in 'write protection'(dunnot if its called so in english).
right click config.cfg and userconfig.cfg , make sure you uncheck "Read only" , all should work fine.
