farthest block with just w-pre ??

just wondering what you guys think would be the highest w/ just a w-pre. i just did a 230 block about an hour ago

imo, i think a 235 is possible if you can manage a 277+ w-pre

a few tries before this one i managed 276.9 pre with like 235~ stats.

wuuut, just watched your demo. Are you like holding w and doing all the movements with your mouse?

yea, moving mouse while just using w to get my pre.

yea, this 'tech' (if we can call it tech) was quite 'tested' after one dude named 'spork' came here with youtubez0r movie where he used this pre-tech and made 255 and some other ljs. But no demos - no proof.
Anyway, everybody tried this tech on their own a week after 'spork released his movie'. My personal reaches was smth like 248 block or so. Got like 250stats but not more. Of course prestrafe was around 277-278. Personally I think this pre-tech doesn't have any potential.

without strafes... i did 233 i think some others 235..

Its actually alot easyier to hit 277 with just w, not usefull because you always leave the edge at an angle heh. I bet its possible but must look messed up and super hard to time ^.^

it's at least the third thread with this subject. I did 235 a while ago cuz someone promised a kiss to those who make 235 :D. Luckily I still have the demo: http://www.sendspace.com/file/7bgqch . I did 237 stats a few times. Might try to get it on dem/block.

umm i think p3tsin made 252 block with this style long time ago.. im not sure if it was p3t but it was some oldschool finnish player :o

I thought p3tsin's ljrec was 251... But then, there was some discussion about it and some thought it was nopre and so on. Btw, he used cl_forwardspeed 1000.
