Plugin like this possible?

It mabye already exists :S


Well i was thinking of some kind of plugin that starts to record when you tell it to and ends when you tell it to. It records your every movement inte a "ghost player"
then when you tell it to playback the recording the "ghost player" will start moving like you did when you recorded it.

That way you could follow the "ghost player" and see exactly how far ahead or behind you were in your previous run while in the middle of your current run.


Then this part doesnt sound very possible but you could "ghost record" the WR demos and then play them into your LAN server to see what you current run is like compared to the WR.


I know near to nothing about amx so I have no idea if a plugin like this would work.


Proabably easier to understand this idea if you have played any car racing games, they usually have a ghost care that you can have running while you drive.

everything even the wr to ghost thing is possible. there is someoine planning it for public and some server who might get a similar feature but that one will be private.

It would be nice if someone create this! Anyway i had thought about such thing long long time ago. That's the idea which i had:

†05:38:13† for example
†05:38:13† :)
†05:38:16† you are playing on
†05:38:25† summercliff_ez
†05:38:29† and
†05:38:33† like the Podbot
†05:38:36† but for jumping
†05:38:45† and
†05:38:48† you start the bot
†05:38:51† with the same
†05:38:53† run
†05:38:54† as the wr
†05:38:59† and you can race vs him
†05:39:00† :D

long time ago... long time ago... i heared of this idea a long time ago too... it already existed before i joined xj... it is always funny to hear when sb had an idea or better discussion about who ahd the idea first :)

I already saw this plugin long time ago on a kz server so it has been already done for sure but maybe it's a private plugin.
