need ideas

im fresh out of ideas atm cuz ive been helping my friend with ideas for his map

One of the intresting part in mapping is to popup with an idea which haven't been used before.
KZmaps are there a big plus in the mapping scene because there are many themens open. I would tell them but orly? Most of the ideas are planned further for a concept by me atm.

Try listen to music or do what you are loving.
Most ideas for my maps pops up under a shower or listening to music or even watching movies/animes.

Or another idea for getting ideas is to play mods/maps or to research on the web. The second one will be a bit easier and you can take the pictures you have found as some examples for your nextmap.

Also another plus is that you don't need to keep your ideas in your brain. It is always better and safety when you are writing a design concept or painting it on a paper.

i don't have ideas too, its funny but i creating my first map atm just like i have ideas, got idea for blocks, created, got idea for a bhop, created etc. i feel so fckin stupid when i read these comments :D

you should take a random stroll around your city and see if you get some ideas from that. or just google image some stuff. i've been thinking of making a de_ map of my town, lawl.

if anyone has seen the movie Wanted, i got a great idea stolen from it. someone could make a canyon kz map with a train that went off the tracks in it and got pinned between the two sides.
