amxx on dedicated and lan server

Yo XJ'ers!
Is it possible to install AMX Mod X on both Lan-server and Dedicated Server ? Or not beacuse:
All the models, plugin files, sounds etc. will be placed in the cstrike\addons dir in both CS and DS game folders.
But the whole program and the registry files will then have to be overwrited if i also install on Dedicated, because then theres two of each file in the program folder and the registry files, and then only one of the installations works ? or IS it possible ?
Hope that this wasn't to advanced to understand :S

dedicated server is c:/program files/steam/steamapps/YOURNAMEHERE/dedicatded server/cstrike
