Need better CJ pre
Yo XJ'ers!
I need to learn better cj pre, because my cj rec is 247 block with 249 stats: Distance: 249.398025 MaxSpeed: 313.874786 (40.562) PreStrafe: 273.312774 Strafes: 6 Sync: 78
As u all can see, pre isn't that good. It's actually possible to maker better pre with lj, so my question is: How can i make better pre ?
My best pre rec is a shitty jump where i did 280 pre and 243 block, i want to know how the good CJ'ers get 285+ pre

Slowmo helped me with cj pre. Now I can easily do 285+ but I fucked up my strafes, so I don't recommend u to use it. That was the only way to learn cj pre in my case. Or just watch some cj recs from the LJ Records section in slowmotion and see exactly what they do.. and I think it's better to use higher sensitivity cuz it's easier to do the pre on blocks like these on kz_longjumps2.

i already use high sens, when i play kz and lj my sens is normally at 12-14.5 :p

many times ago i jumped with 20 sens :)
just more practice and watch demos

My pre is better now, i got 280 almost everytime i jump.
Btw my rec is higher now, this was done on a 250 cj block:
Distance: 253.472335 MaxSpeed: 312.377498 PreStrafe: 281.803314 Strafes: 7 Sync: 67
my pre seems to be much higher now, but i go practice and make it better. Thx for help :-)

When your almost doing a 180 turn, sync it and you will hit massive pre.

it actually helped u with to synchronize u'r movement of the mouse with the keys u press (for example if u do that fast turn a little faster before the "dduck" u'r speed will drop, or if u do it slower and do the turn when u already jumped u can see that u'r strafestats will show more gained speed, but u'r pre will be lower) so yeah.. slowmo would help a little :D
You gotta sync your 1:st "prestrafe" with your 180 turn.
Example: Run forward -> Ordinary prestrafe to right/left -> Duck and turn wide
1.the cj pre counts as a strafe,so if u do it with WD,then u need to strafe with A
2. try to make the littlest duck you can,and the fastest. this way you get 285-290 pre
if you can't get it with pure practice,try slowmo mbe it'll help u
