well i started to practise cj a few days ago and it was always around 235-245... sometimes 248 but not higher. well today i - somehow - got this:

I still remember it like it was yesterday:
I had jumped 245-248-249 stats and blocks in a lot of time, and i always did them with 4-6 strafes.
Then i would try to do 7-8 strafes, and then BANG! Out of nowhere i just kick a 250 block's ass with 252.1 stats, it was an awesome feeling to hear the "WICKED SICK!!"- sound i've made on my own xD

Got my first 250 jump with 251 stats for about 1 year ago. It was even more fun to do the first 253 stats. I was geeking the lj in pipehop and it felt so boring to do 5 strafes so I tried 7 for the first time ever. For some reason I manage to get 253,2 stats on my first jump. After that I barely did 240 stats with 7 strafes. The funniest moment for me in kz :P

I was just starting kz back then, you said "lol, lets try 7 strafes" - then you instantly did 253 stats and said "new record" :--)
