[-]October 22, 2008 - Half-life 1 Engine Update Released
A new set of Steamworks features have been released for all Half-Life 1 engine multiplayer games: Counter-Strike 1.6, Condition Zero, Team Fortress Classic, Deathmatch Classic, Ricochet, Day of Defeat and Half-life 1 Deathmatch. The update includes Steamworks features such as player avatars in the scoreboard when playing Counter-Strike and Condition Zero. The update also contains several bug fixes, listed below. Note that this update will require all game servers to restart.
Bug Fixes
* Removed the need to manually re-login and re-authenticate to Steam while in game
* Fixed a crash on startup when running windowed with a non-standard desktop resolution
* Removed the display of saytext (in-game chat text) from players whom you've blocked in Steam friends
* Locked down several engine cvars to prevent malicious script exploits
* Enforced file consistency on several sprites in Counter-Strike
* Removed "ex_extrapmax" cvar (no longer needed)
Server
* Added "-noaff" command-line option to disable setting of thread affinity
* Added "bannedcfg" cvar so admins can choose which file is written to by the "writeid" command
i was never good at silent running or CJing...
Is this feature/bug (w/e u wanna call it) now disabled?
Everytinh else seems the same to me

i'd love CJ to be disabled, can't do the shit tech anyway,
Havn't Been on CS lately, is your Nick set as your Steam login name now? or your steam friends name (saw something in chatbox about this)

Lol :D now steam users, cant connect to non steam servers, because off the protocol, and those idiots locked the ex_interp cvar, cl_updaterate cvar ^_^ fcuking bitchez.....

And I'm glad they locked the ex_interp (0.01-0.008) coz it's just Bs aswell...
Haven't been online but, if they locked the cl_updaterate, what if I had it on like 70, will it stay @ 70 or will it lock at 101 ?

Steam gives some people Problems loopah and therefore play CSNS or not at all, but your right others are just cheap

Ok... The post with giude was deleted by admins, so imo you should w8 for new cs updates (probably won't happen) or try 2 figure out my giude (about it can say only, that it was deleted cuz it is related with non-steam).
Offtopic: Actually I don't understand my warning reason "posted illegal stuff" cuz I hadn't add no url's to that guide (not saying that it works only if you have bought cs and have it on you'r account, what makes it legal), but ok... It's you'r choice.
P.S. When some1 edits my ljstats and adds download links... Sure... :D
P.S2. No I'm not trying 2 insult some1, but this is really uber funny for me - was laughing maybe 10 minutes. :D
