Hi. I have a server which is running on linux and it's using old protocol. No one can join it because of it and I don't know how to update it. Can someone help me?

Have you tried to simply restart the server?
Probably that will do the trick.

I'm having the same problem, although it's not my server but a mates server that im playing on. Fast googling gave me this:

Just contact your support and tell them to restart the server :)

I can restart it from ftp.. And restart doesn't help. But nvm I fixed it (few new server files).

U need SSH+Shell to do the update:

Shell-> ./steam -command update -game cstrike -dir /home/server/gs <- example with the path.

U need the file "steam".

If u dont have ssh/shell u have to ask the game provider :)
