v-sync&other problems..

hi,i have some prb with the graph..
I have AMD Athlon Dual Core 5600+ 2.90 GHz,4.00 GB of rams,+ ATI Radeon 4800 series
I`ve read,that the monitors are the solution 4 this,anyway i have horizon 17inches..
I don't hve the V-Sync option with this display c..
i have: smoothvision: anti aniasing,- || -antistropic filtering,catalyst A.I,mipmap detail level,adaptive anti-analising
what to enable/what to turn off 4 good fps+ quality?
i have 100fps always,but some lines appear at the screen when i move the mouse vertically/horizontally..same as at my old pc,but i thought with this pc those lines will disappear..
some help?

have you increased the monitor refresh rate from the standard 60hz? 75hz is the max that normal lcd monitors can take so try that if you havent already.
didnt understand your settings, but.
for best performance:
anisotropic filtering - off
antialiasing: 2-4x (or turned off)
force mipmap - bilinear (or none/off)

hmm
my refresh rate was 80 hz,i changed it to 60hz,but it hasn't change anything,than i changed it to 90Hz ..

reinstalle direct x / latest driver for you'r graphic card and line appear only under cs or always ?

i`ll try to reinstall direct x
haven't tryed it ..
btw where should i dl direct x latest version 4 free ?
i toke some snapshots,but they disappear in ss i see..

maybe the prob is my monitor?
i have horizon crt 17"
but anyway,i talked with a pers,he plays with v sync,and has 100fps constantly..
8800gt dual,15" compaq crt monitor ?:|
i have
hd 4850,17" horizon crt monitor,v sync on=60 fps...
Hz=85
i tryed 120 Hz too,but still 60 fps.. (59)

look in your videocard options search (vertycal sync) and do it OFF then go in cs and write fps_max 101 sry 4 bad eng -.-

and play on the resolution that work with 100 hz
if u play with vsync off, it doenst show you the REAL fps.
my monitor got only 100hz on 640, 800 and 1024 , the rest is 85 to 75 hz

it moves smoothly/differently/slower with v sync on,but i think it's better this way+better graph.. or?

u can take it off, but then it doenst show u the real fps.
it allways shows 100 fps by my comp
