Yes my steamaccount got hijacked today ;/
Just wanna know.
How long time does it approximately take for steam to answer ?
I posted a "question" as it said on the steam site so..
And just have to say that I'm so sick of ppl. that hack everything..

i'd say you will be lucky if you even get an answer. my old account got stolen, i sent them the cdkey and even the receipt from the store where i bought it from, never got an answer.

Usually Steam managers and admins etc... are always too "busy" to respond to anything, you will be really lucky even if u get some sort of response, my friend got his account hijacked he asked a question in forums and he didnt get a reply until like 5 months after it happened. So dont expect much from them, they're really lazy when it comes to account hijacking.
Have a harder password?... lul.

04/11/2008 08:38get on the steamsupport page. Registery you an account there. open up a ticket which says that your account got hijacked.
after that in a couple of hours they will give an answer what they want from you and you need to fill it. Mostly it is a picture of the original product with the cdkey and the support id on a notice written.
Buy a new onne =) it's not much...
9.99$ for a new, although if your lucky you could get it back in a few days/1 week :E

Even tho this could be like a spam I have to agree with ajR. Just use a harder password and noone has the chance to hack you. Steam shouldn't check all this hijacked accounts , it's just senseless imo, so much work for like nothing. its not steam's fault/problem if you loose you'r account. they are warning you so often that noone will ever ask for pw and that you should use a good password. If I would be steam I wouldn't have any steam support workers that would fix that... lucky that they have this support there. Learn from that from now on and have serious passwords... thats the only thing I can say about it. message me when you got a new account :D
