i have a few questions to the cups

i have read the rules so i mainly know how a cup is working
but in a 1on1 cup
are jumping at the same time on the same server against your opponent?
are checkpoints allowed?

or does it depend on the kind of cup?

In a 1on1 cup you are first 8 players, then you plays 1vs1, then there will be 4 guys left and those play 1vs1, then there are only 2 guys left and they play a final.
Checkpoints aren't allowed.

and you and you enemy are at the same time at the same map and jump, und who is nearer at the top when the 5 minutes are over , that one has won?
