Batch Compiler
Hey, Ive got this problem and it have annoyed me for a quite long time. And have stopped me to compile my finished maps.
Well lets come to the problem. When I compile my maps with Batch, it pops up a box with text: "Error writing batch file: C:\Program files\Batch Compiler\compile.bat"
And I have no idea how to fix that problem, Ive googled and things.
Please help me. :)
Post your log, oh and you got a space in your launch line
The problem is that it doesnt pop up any log or something, just the window and when i press okay it shuts down.

raver posted already the fix.
batch compile, hlcc or x² are only working with the dos window.
if the path isn't written with " " in the program there will be some problems.
try to move the compile.bat in another folder without spaces in the path. it might work then.
Thank you for the help, it works now. :)
Admin pls close the thread.
i know this is old but i have the same problem and i dont know what:
"you got a space in your launch line"
means. i dunno what that means or where hes referring to. i dont even have a file called compile.bat nor do i know where to get it.
C:\Program files\
thats the problem
this path has spaces in it. place it somewhere else.
ohh ok i see but i dont have that file: compile.bat
its not in my batch folder anywhere, or do i need to create it myself?
once i get it ill put it somewhere else
EDIT:
sorry sorry im retarded i found it. the .bat part of the file was just hidden or something, i have the file.
