mini lags at lan :( (with demo now)

i lag for half a sec when winamp is changing to another song, and i loose all my speed if im in the air.

same for me and that is fucking boring , if someone have a tips !
i think its due to hd access maybe with a second hd they'r no probleme !

Maybe that's my problem? I've had the most tragic fails because of the stupid lags I get. I always have winamp up and playing.

Yeah, I was just about to press the timer @ bkz_goldbhop and the last thing I saw was 0104 then my cs crashed bcos of winamp :(

well, it happens for my no matter what .. only have cs running, and still I get these lags :/

Do you have wireless internet connection? That might be the problem if the connection is arrupted from something (could be anything from someone walking pass the router to a radiobeam in the air). Also check your antivirus-software, it might download a update once in a while if you have it set on auto-update.
Does that lag happen on some specific time of the day or just random?

Open task manager and look for programs that eat allot of memory ,and/or have a big variation of memory usage .
I had a problem with my anti virus , it depended on some programs that were set to |above normal| by default and coudn't terminate them , it gave me an error , and also my fps randomly dropped when on lan or pub.

it only happens at lan, and its ca. once every minute it does it.
and I dont have wireless, and my antivirus gives me a warning when its updating something :s

try to take out all ur demos to another folder, so it's not in the cstrike folder

I figured out that steam is killing some CPU and fps. Anyone knows how to play without steam, but not using no-steam :P?

I dont have any of my demos in my cstrike c0ld :/
