christmas is one of the things that can be as commercial as it wants it's still a nice tradition, I don't see a reason to hate it.. see it as some time together with the family, if you don't like the presents stuff and the whole shit in the media etc.

Make them as it was few years ago as you like them. Ignore commercials, enjoy spending time with relatives, holidays and so on. No need do follow commercials and buy expensive gifts and all that shit advertised. :)
