Hi, I have a FTP server that a friend gave to me, but when I try to connect I get this message:
This server is using an older protocol ( 47 ) than your client ( 48 ). If you believe this server is outdated, you can contact the server administrator at [email protected]
So I was wondering, how can I update my servers client to 48?

Yea right but a server don't give such an error message.

I think you mean your csserver.

1. Contact your serverprovider to update the server.
Or
2. Do it yourself when you have access to a shell console
./steam -command update -game cstrike -dir /path/to/your/gameserver
