It is hard for me to explain in english, but for cream soup people should use middle tablespoon and for normal soup just a big tablespoon !

Any mousepad that is smooth surfaced works quite good for Logitech's mice :) I'm using an (old and worn out) Steelseries för my G5 that has worked very good for a long time. It's got both a little more rough side and one that is smoother, whatever you prefer.
