im using SpriteWizard to create sprites, but when i use them in-game they are not transparent. I want it so i only see for example the moon in the sprite (ifn the map is dark and night-like) but instead of that i see both the moon and the stuff around it, even though i set the background color to blue 255. It's not transparent, ive tried everything, what's wrong?

wrong color index because not every blue has the color index of 255

i seen i can use additive, 2 kinds of greyscale and no transpaency as transparancy mode. I can take screenshot when i get home.

if you use photoshop:

Create a new Transparent project

Write your text or create your picture.
If everything is finished like you want do these steps:

Image -> Mode -> Indexed Color
If it ask for Rasterize layer? Press Okay

Now in the Indexed Color Dialog
Select the Palette dropdown menu and change it to Local (Selective)
If Forced is not set to none do it yourself.
Now press okay and you have everything done for the 255 index color but the it is transparent further.

For the blue color do these steps:
Image -> Mode -> Color Table...

Double click on the black bordered transparent icon in the tables.
Give it the color hex: 0000ff
Or the RGB: 0 0 255

save it now as an 8bit .bmp file and you have everything done for it :)
