Strafejump - How?

Hello,\r\n\r\nI've trained the strafejump from the nuke roof to the rock for about 3 months, almost daily. But I've managed it only about 1 of 100 tries.\r\n\r\nI've read 3 tutorials from other sites, read the guide from this site and watched the video guide. What do I do wrong?\r\n\r\nI've recorded a demo. Yes, you can't see what I do with the keys, but maybe you recognize a known mistake or so. Edit : So I watched the demo , 1st of all this jump is a high jump so you shouldn't jump from the edge
every jump above (I think it was 69 units?) is a high jump in cs so there is edgefriction which slows you down , in order to avoid id you jump earlier , do it with bhop or cj
another thing I found is that your prestrafe stinks (ground speed before jump) , the easiest way to do a prestrafe is to get ljstats and xj mod from downloads and when you enter in game type /speed
try walking with W than walking with W and shake your mouse you will see difference in speed
easiest kind of prestrafe is to start with W , make a little bit of left turn with the mouse than hit D (still pressing W ) and move your mouse right , this way you should be able to hit 270-275 speed , than ofc you should train your strafes but I think that this jump is simple and you won't need it (it's good to see all the guides in downloads)
