Hi, i just have a few inquiries.

I'll start with this one, and ask more when I remember which ones i had. . .
been trying to remember for 10 minutes.

1- A stand up Bhop is when you jump crouch to a platform, then before hitting the platform (but once you're above it) you release crouch and get more height from that bhop? Correct? Sorry if my english is bad.

(edit)
2- K got my second question? What the HELL is up with High Jumps? Why is the highest block on the records a 243 yet the highest jump is a 254.554? And why is ajR` in 2nd place with a 255 when he could be in first if he just jumped a 243 block instead of a 242? I just have no idea whats going on with high jump records.

3- Is it weird that I can bhopLJ a 239, yet i can hardly LJ a 230? I think my excuse is my low low 60 fps (because for bhops, i constantly get +80% strafe sync and 297-299 pre's) thats holding me back from higher rankings, but i think my technique for LJ is just awful (and yes i've watched the strat movies) =/ My highest is like a 236 and it felt like luck!

A stand-up bhop is when you hold duck in like.. mid air or later and release duck the very second you jump.

High jumps - have you ever tried one? You'll realise that if you jump like you do on LJ's, your prestrafe will be really, really bad. I do not know what causes this, I just know that you have to jump before the edge (xx units) because there's a height difference on the block you jump from, till the block you jump to (hence the HIGH). Now the reason that the world record is 243 with a 254 lj is because of the fact that you have to jump before the edge, you'll need a longer distance to cross the block - which also means better timing. Fact or Fiction is #1 because he jumped 243 block and ajR` jumped 242, among with the other guys, lj records is about the block you jump on, not the stats.

60 fps is bad, im sure you'll be able to find guides on the net on how to get 100, once you'll get 100 you will instantly be better.
From there on it's just about practise, good luck!

u have to jump ~12 units before the edge on highjumps cuz there is edgefriction, and If u hit the edgefriction your prestrafe will decrease so if the WR is 243 HJ if u want to transfer it to LJ that will be: 243 units distance + 12 units EF = 255 lj
at LJ records the most important thing is THE BLOCK, and then stats (if the players have jumped the same block)

with 60 fps u jump shorter than with 100 fps, and I guess u don't have some strafestyle like a pro, so u don't need bonus time in air.. and ofc u can go further with bhop than LJ/CJ when u can do 297-299 pre with fucked-up strafes

NOEL:

If he got a 60hz TFT screen he can't get 100 real fps. Just fake-fps that CS says it's 100 but it's not.

then I can do 255-6 with 75 fps .. get real .. hz matter but not that much

I don't think there's much to add , try to stop your vertical sync from your video card control panel , you will probably get 100 fps

everybody already knows this so stop this rubbish. the fake-fps still change everything in cs, why do you think developer isnt allowed? for instance you could try sliding up to the big rock at nuke with 60 "fake-fps" then 100, you'll notice that you will get up much faster with 100.
