well is there a way to see the avg speed , how much jumps , bhops , and ducks were used in wr's ?

I think that it will be fun to know what was the avg speed the jumper is moving with in his climb/bhop demo

rhoiswar18/01/2009 21:30

the speed is going to be different in every map, no use in comparing

Not to brag but I am familiar with C++, mind if I take a look?

SchlumPF19/01/2009 06:45

i do mind cuz im not allowed to give it away ^^
ask him if you want some public tutorial how to retrieve values out of demos.

atm every code that contains demo reading and analysing is closed but after csac is released there is no reason to keep the demo format secret and fps-death 2 is planned to be open source :)

When are you going to detect slowmo? It's getting out of hand.

ajR`19/01/2009 13:42

i like the idea too but ajR is right what will happen to the old demos .. as far as i know there is not way to import a plugin in a demo ... so .. they have to be redone ... wich seems imposible

tomB19/01/2009 17:55

nice idea, i wanna see the avg speed of some awesome demos.

I think that this could be done with fps death2 , so no1 needs plugin :)
