What Mouse?

Hey all,

I have finally decided to buy a new mouse, for CS 1.6 , KZ [Mainly Longjumps] + KA (Knife Arena).

At the moment I have a 'Microsoft Intelli Mouse, Laser' I bought it 2nd hand, I can jump alright with 2 strafes (240 LJ distance) but then I add more,

I get crap distances + strafes (My mouse lags and doesnt do FAST Strafes/Moviement).
Here is the list i've come up with on which mouse to buy...

- Logitech MX518
- Razer Deathadder

PS: Price does matter for me :) so the cheapest is MX518, which I have my eyes on as a bargain atm.

Well right now i'm using deathadder with Qck and i'm really satisfied.
I recommend it :)

i have 1 genius for 7$ :D but i think G5 is perfect

I've been using an mx518 for a few years now, I def do NOT recommend it. It breaks too often. I would switch mice but I'm too comfortable with how this one feels :/

Mx518 is nice. I would suggest getting a DeathAdder for KZ though. It has a greater default HZ(response time) setting, which helps in ljing.

I am using MX310, and it's good. But i think MX518 is even better, it lays better in my hand.

But i think soon i'm going to get Ikari mouse.

thanks people :) for the tips etc.

but what will also be good for KA? (Knife Arena maps (knife maps)

because I play both KZ + KA.

btw - I might be getting a deathadder, need 2 research some more before I order xD

Go for the Logitech G5, you can't get any better than that in the same pricerange. Imo, Razer mouses are just funky as hell and doesn't fit as well as your Logitech.
