It's all about feeling. Do to your nearest supermarket where they sell gaming gears and try out what mouse you like best and then mousepad. That's how I would have done it.

Just one thing, I can't recommend QcK mousepads, they don't feel very great and they're inprecise.

I use mouse "cyber snipa stinger" its really amazing mouse. Never slips off your fingeres and is good for strafing and bhoping because its got fat mousewheel. For mousepad I use "Roccat Taito" which is really huge and goes well with the mouse.

A4tech XL-750F + A4tech X7 gaming pad ... my choice and i am really enjoying them :) working great for almost 2 years ..
