Measurement plugin?

I can't find a link to that plugin that allows you to measure the distance between to points and give you that distance in units. I searched the forums, but only found old threads from 07 with outdated plugins. If anyone could help me find a plugin that allows you to measure a distance, please do so. Thanks in advance.

Like I said.. I used search but got very old responses.. not my fault that the site is pulling up threads from 2007.

Yes I'm the big moron that can't use the search button, but I know you guys have it. A little help is much appreciated.
