I had vhe like 2 years ago and it was working good, but now i installed it again and i can select any objects in 3d view ;s
So if any1 knows whats the problem plz tell me, thx.
i guess again an ATI users. downgrade your graphiccard drivers and it should work again.
put this file in your vhe folder and it will work perfectly. It may lag (for me it does) but it works

This may be caused by using the Direct3D debug version of the dynamic-link libraries (dll's).
Go to the Windows Control Panel, double-click the DirectX icon, select the Direct3D tab at the top of the panel, click "Use Retail Version of Direct3D", click the Apply button and exit.
Note: This may affect debugging of other DirectX applications when using MS Visual Studio (or other debugging platforms). i think this is the solution
thx all for helping me, csgrabben your file helped me, its working now ;o
do you have lags too now?
it works for mee too but i have lags in 3D view when there is some brushes
must put my screen in 800*600 if i want to map :S
Buy nVidia, fixed the problem or find very old drivers for ATI graphics card..
cant install drivers under 8.0 version :/
and my ATI is new...
I found the solution in 1 bulgarian forum for VHE.
1. Copy atioglxx.dll (C:\Windows\System32)
2. Open your VHE directory (example: C:\Program Files\Valve Hammer Editor)
3. Paste atioglxx.dll there.
HF ^^
Lags a bit but it's better than nothing :)
just update the driver to a newer version and it shouldnt lag anymore. a driver from 2010 is working for it.
