keep in mind that this is what i made through the span of my 5 "first!" days with Photoshop. (:

ndR moviemaker Tournament #223/02/2009 20:00

That's nice for 5 days, I can't really rate all of this because I almost never make such images, I mostly do photomanipulation with pics I take.

When it's about making a good pic from a white image I'm a pure noob :D
There are only 2 two ones I'm proud of, and still, I'm pretty sure many people would laugh about them :P

Thank you <3 Well i did get a few tips for some pros already :)

I like starting off with a pure black / white canvas and then get going! Use a Render (cut out person to insert) and a C4D Render. Manga / Anime is also my favorit, along with space.. Thank you for reply :)
hoping for some CC!

Keep in mind that d2jsp doesn't really have many pros. Most people I see there are really arrogant and think their signatures are the best in the world + most of their signatures look pretty much the same. They think that more effects -> better work + they're unable to give constructive criticism. Just so you would know.

But on topic, those wallpapers look quite good considering that you've been using the program for only 5 days! I can see you use the "water-effect" in 3 wallpapers and the "shiny" effect in at least 2 of them. I'd use a bigger range of techniques and experiment with all kind of stuff. It's looking good though, so keep up the good work.

And ofcourse you can slightly change the truth on a word-based forum ...

fischauge24/02/2009 00:44

Do you have the pics in better resolution? Like 1920x1200 :p

Thanks to you all, yes this is 5 days of work, i red 2 tutorials, and thats why the "technique" is the same on most of the pictures. :)
will be moving on to more 'advanced ones'

The 5 day thing is true hehe, it makes me happy when some of you doubt it :D hihi.. (friends can vouch it)

Flibo* you are so correct, most of the jsp guys (kids hehe) realy have no clue, however i have been PM'd by a few who actualy knew stuff wich is good ofc :)

fischauge* Yes i can change the resolution ofc, the the numbers of the images are propotional, meaning when i change the xxx (hight) the yyy (lenght will also change. Example these are 1280*800 wich means they can be changed to 1290x1200 :)

2. This was the second tut i used: http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?showtopic=27557587&f=246

3. This was the third and last: http://forums.d2jsp.org/index.php?showtopic=4139556&f=246&st=0

Note: i didnt follow theses tut's completely, i just used them as "guidelines" so i had an idea, i like to be creative and not following something 100% :)
