Does anyone know exactly how high you jump during a bhop?
Everyone knows that you can jump 63 units high while standing (+duck in midair)
There a couple of things that are of intrest for me:

Jump height of...

- normal bhop (not standup) with ducking in midair (max height)
- normal bhop (not standup) without ducking in midair (should be something like maxheight minus 32units)

and ofcause these..
- standup bhop with ducking in midair
- standup bhop without ducking in midair

i wonder if it differs between standup and non-standup
If anyone has facts for this because he tried it out, please post here (no wild guessing please..).

Thx in advance.

edit: if someone has a map with blocks that have a height from 52 to 63 units, i can try this out on myown. Btw. 52 units is quite easy. Didnt manage to do 58 units without doubleducking before the bhop.

good questions.. and the answers are in this thread (download the plugin) http://xtreme-jumps.eu/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?119520.post

It depends on pev_fuser2 what depends on time from last jump.

afaik lt.rats plugin isnt even correctly (i think i had a conversation with eDarka bout it and he said its wrong but i might remember the wrong conversation :/).

max bhop height = 52
max standup height = 53

without ducking:
max bhop height = 34
max standup height = 35

isnt it really correct? because today it showed 46 lj height (no duck), my brother accidently did it.. and I remember that eDark said that its possible to jump more than 63 units height

yep its poss, i jumped 64 high on cg_extreme
numb made a demo of this 2 days later.

It's not like you jump higher than 63 on your own.. it's more like wallbugging upwards or something. Works with vertexed corners. and every surface on which you could also do a wallbug. Haven't exactly figuered out how and why, but it works ;) so mappers be aware ^^ 64unit blocks can't always block the way like they are supposed to ;)

Where can I dl the demo? "every surface on which you could also do a wallbug" = every map is ruined? EJ2?

This 64 units jump is more like some luck. Your fps must get... Even dunno what word am looking for. Anyway it depends on when your frame is forwarded - 0.001 second correction at the last frame when your vertical speed is positive. And here is my demo (however you wont find anything interesting there - only jump + duck).

You can jump on 64 unit tall slope. Probably even more depending how steep it is. But 64 unit tall box? I'll bet my left nut :D

I had to make a testmap and here's the results:

Max jump height on 16 unit long, 16 unit high slope(45°): 73 units.
Max jump height on 16 unit long, 8 unit high slope(26°): 69 units.
Max jump height on 16 unit long, 4 unit high slope(14°): 66 units.

Still it's not possible to jump on a box more than 63 units high. That's the max.

PS. I'll send my nut by mail if someone manages to do 64 unit high jump on to a box
