why so bad distance ?
Hi, I have been longjumping a while now but I get pretty good stats but not so good distance..:(
what shall I Do ? :D

big difference between last 2 strafes look at othetco`s strafes
last strafe - fail , work on it
here is a jump with not so big difference between 2 last strafes , but wtf :O only 249 :(

no guy, your last strafe should gain like 4+ or something like this. don't add a strafe, continue with the same of the last stats, but without the 7th strafe

yeah u'r last strafe is failure, try with 6 :D
demo could help.
Maybe try to make the first strafe bigger.

The first strafes bring the speed, the last strafes gain distance. That's why i think your last strafe does not matter so much, when your first strafes are good.

I have the same problem too , idk why the 6th strafe is 0 -_-

as every one said the last strafe is the problem .. when its such a fail you just don't get the distance if you fix it you will make 252+ distance even more ... i made my 252 block with less max i had like 227 or smthing like that and with 6 or 7 strafes i'm not sure but still you need the fix the last strafe

oh nice stats , Imo I think u failed with the duck. ducked to late.. if u get 6 strafes with same stats I bet its 252+ gl ! :D
Eternity: its very good stats, you should stay with 5 strafes and look more demos with 5 strafes. try to find a demo of "luizah" of romanian-jumps that jumped 252 if I wasn't wrong

one of the main reasons of your fails is "duck timing". I haven't been playing for a while and I got the same problem. Like doing ~251 stats with 340ms and 276pre... But when I hit duck at the right spot I get 254+ ;] So remember that duck is one of the major things.
