Spin strafing - ALIVE?

Hey I've just remembered that there is a spin strafing technique. I was wondering did someone has already learned that kind of strafing? Or it was forgotten for ages ? :D

I used to do 240 with this tech, but I dont think its possible to do 250

After a lot of try with ichwill, I just made 243 lj with that tech.

This is so insane to script it and made it.

ok after i made that 235 block i tried about 100 more times,

this is how i feel, its just based on prestrafe, low maxspeed and my stats were just 235-239 by press d-w-a-s i think its just reducing the lose of speed when turning in mid air.

But again, i might be wrong, alost this is combining forward,sideways,and backwards all together in one motion, ill have to do more jumps on this and see what happens.

i do right pre and start with d, then w-a-s-d, cuz i think if i start with d i would have more speed, if ur good @ multi task ur proly do it better than others, cuz its really hard to strafe like this, AND u gotta look where u going, so u don jump towards another block. i would really like to see a script of this, still think is more like on pretho , but i think it would be more effective if u do like 2+ spins, since my mouse sens is 1.7 i can barely do 1 spin.
OR I JUST DID THE WHOLE SHIT WRONG

alex i think you did it the way i ment it to be done. but u're right, 1.x sensitivity = fail at these strafes ;)

Afterall i think the idea was promising but obviously didnt work out too well. Tho i don't really know why it doesn't work. Maybe we are all just to stupid to perform it in a correct way ;)

@alex: try w-only pre.. worked best for me.
