need some opinions from the community

So we are planning a weekly/monthly bhop tourney on the PhooGi bhop server and i pretty much have it figured out except the maps for each round . It will be a 32 person tourney with 16 players in each ladder and the 2 winners will face off against eachother . now for the maps for each round i want to go from easy-average for round 1 and get more difficult per round . so post what maps you would pick for something like this .
ex. (and obviously the maps would change per tourney)
1st round - bkz_goldbhop
2nd round - cg_cbblebhop_h
3rd round - j2s_4tunnels
4th round - bn_tombbhop
final - prochallenge_bhop or wanderer

imo 4tunnels is easier than cbblebhop_h :D

this is the way it should go
templebhop_h and wanderer include massive climbing

3. cg_cbblebhop_h (easier than goldbhop_v2 IMO, not for some)

goldbhop is fine - dislike the other maps.

Other maps could be;

clintmo_bhoptoon
cg_wildwesthop
kz_cg_venice
bkz_junglebhop
kz_kzdk_covebhop
kz_kzdk_delianshop
kz_shrubhop_ez
j2s_4floors

maybe cg_coldbhop_v2 - though I'm not the biggest fan of that map.

Don't pick the new weird bhop-maps - or bhop maps with too much kz, if you expect bhoppers to participate :)


I don't get the idea about harder bhop-maps later?

If a bhop-map is too ez for you, then just skip a few more blocks - and make it hard yourself.

Now that I think about it, the easiest maps are the hardest. You can never get that perfect run at anytime, but with harder maps you only challenge yourself to beat the map. Easy maps you have the challenge to get the shortcuts and the fastest times with no flaw.

owned what u said is only true if we r talking about recording (imo). becouse in a real time challange you cant do every little shorcut and perfect run, just the ones u r almost sure you can do it for first try cuz u don wanna fuck up ur run with one failed skip.

well i have read the posts so far and i like some of them and some i dont, burrow will never be added because of the ammount of time it takes most people. i will leave this post going untill sunday then i will announce the details of the tourney and what the first map cycle will be .
i may also be setting up hltv for those who dont get to participate they can still spectate.

ok so i changed my mind i will announce the tournamant info today .but i completely forgot to get xj's permission to post it here so if an xj admin could say yes or no i would appreciate it.

because i prefer bhop over kz lol and a kz tournament might be in the future have to talk to gangien about that one
